By obtaining 100% of the finances needed to acquire and completely refurbish a new four chair premises, we were able to support our client through their recent major modernisation.
SMART Practice’s project management role secured the purchase and relocation of the business in exactly 5 months, going on to recruit a team of 3 new associates and 3 new hygienists and completing the transformation from NHS to private practice.
Introducing business hours of 8am-8pm, 6 days/week, and initiating a self-administered Membership Plan, we helped build a patient list of 1300 for each associate, well on target for the principal’s goal of 1800.
With our initiatives helping turnover increase to 900k per annum, we were then able to negotiate the sale of the practice for the partners and complete all due diligence.

SMART Practices was brought in to lend support and oversee the restructuring of this two chair orthodontic practice as the premises went through a significant remodelling and the business undertook the search for a fulltime practice manager.
As the acting management team, we were able to acquire finance for and recruit interior designers to renovate the practice’s common areas, waiting rooms and surgeries.
In addition, we managed the offsite storage of more than 30 years of paper records and ortho models, as well as taking on staff management responsibilities while a practice manager was found.
